Werner Koninckx
Werner is co-founder and partner of Navius. He led more than 100 Navius assignments.
Before founding Navius, Werner was a consultant and project manager at McKinsey. Before joining McKinsey, Werner was a corporate banker at Paribas in Amsterdam. He started his career as a marketeer at Unilever.
Werner holds a degree in business engineering from the KUL and simultaneously finished a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at the same university. Afterwards he studied fiscal affairs in Brussels and management at the UCL.
Werner is chairman of 3E and DeltaQ and board member for C4T and Energy Transition Partners. He serves as a board member and/or adviser for various not-for-profit organisations in the cultural and social domain.
Stefaan Quinart
Stefaan is a partner of Navius. He has a strong track record both in deal making and strategy shaping.
Before joining Navius, Stefaan worked as a CFO for 3E and as a strategy consultant for Roland Berger and OC&C Strategy Consultants.
Stefaan holds a master degree in engineering from the Ghent University.
Stefaan is co-founder of Wattson, an energy services company, and Hommes Et Terre, an eco-system restoration company, active in West Africa. Stefaan is board member of CargoVelo, an urban bicycle courier.
Lore De Laere
Lore joined Navius as senior consultant in 2022. She is financial data and modelling expert.
Lore holds a master degree in business engineering from the KUL, where she obtained a major in finance and a minor in strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. Afterwards she deepened her knowledge on advanced modelling and BI tools through various courses.
Lore has a professional background in finance & controlling. Before joining Navius she worked consecutively for Lineas, Nikon and Agrifirm in different roles in the CFO office.
Albert J. Dijkstra
Albert is co-founder and partner of Navius. He has been involved in 100+ transactions of various sizes and across multiple industries.
Albert holds a masters degree in Business Administration and a propedeuse in Public Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Before Navius, Albert was one of the founding partners of Solveigh Corporate Development, a Rotterdam based M&A advisory firm. Albert started his career at Paribas in corporate banking and structured finance.
Albert has been on the board of several HR and software companies. In 2018, Albert joined the Executive Board of HE Space Holding in a joint CEO role. Thia role involved restructuring the company’s Group Strategy, developing new business activities and setting up a new Group Management Team. In 2022, the company was succesfully sold.
At present, Albert is co-founder and board member of Noorderlicht ventures, a SaaS company in the energy sector. He serves as a board member for various not-for-profit organisations.
Greg Sims
Greg joined Navius as a partner in 2018, he brings more than thirty years of experience related to the Space and Technology sectors, covering both the institutional and commercial markets. After studying electronic engineering Greg worked for a range of Space Companies in both the US and Europe and then working at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands for ten years before leaving to start his own Company.
Over his long and varied career he has undertaken a wide range of roles including Chairman and Company Director of both listed and non-listed Companies, and has extensive experience in developing company strategies and successful M&A transactions.
Recently, Greg undertook the role of joint CEO of HESpace Holding, this role involved restructuring and expansion of the overall Group management and business activities, this resulted in the company being successfully sold in 2022.
Currently, Greg manages an investment portfolio targeted at small and medium size companies active in the Space and Technology sectors.
